A Gibsonia homeowner was buying a new home with the plan of remodeling the entire inside and changing the landscaping on the outside. The one thing that she didn’t want to change was the retaining wall, which she loved.
Unfortunately, this retaining wall was tipping forward and would eventually reach the point of collapsing. She called Matthews Wall Anchor & Waterproofing to take a look, and hopefully save it. We inspected the wall and told her about our anchor process and that it would be the best solution to save the wall.
The homeowner was afraid that we would install big rectangular plates that would take away from the look of the beautiful wall. We told her not to worry because we have special deco plates that are made for retaining walls just like hers. These plates are black diamonds that are 7″ x 14″.
